Default Intro

Hi to all. I am new so I am posting up. I currently do NOT own a Honda of any model but I am looking for one for a daily. SOmething along the lines of 88-91 hatch with your typical d16 turbo. I currently own a 1999 Audi A4 which is about to be transformed with a GT2871R on the stock block and later once I install my built longblock it will get a CT 5558 billet tri plex oil less. I currently have a turbo collection like most girls collect shoes and am going to sell some off. Just some off the top of noggin:

GT2871R
GT2554
GT3071R
GT3076R (7 blade waste gate style)
GT4202
p trim 60-1
S252 billet
S362
TD05H 20G billet
CT 5558 oil less triplex

As you can see I am having a hard time to pick. Anyway thats what up.

Wow no love at all LOL.

A quick noob question. How does a straight B20 with no head swap do for a simple turbo build? I am sure its not going to be as rev happy but if 7500 RPM is doable I'd rather run a bit more displacement and use a bigger turbo earlier in the rev range.

I really like how Honda made their stock ECM availible to the aftermarket. I ended up paying $800 for a software package to tune my Audi. CHips are just as much and in some cases more. Flashes are also $600 plus and the ones to run big turbo needs special MAF which pushes it closer to $1000. Why couldn't Audi steal a page from Honda and made the world a better place.

I honestly think its more the badge then the make, plus the lower numbers imported by Audi.
