Default b20 install questions...

I am thinking about using the b20 block with b18 head. I have the greddy turbo kit also..Now as far as the block girdle goes, is it really necassary?I heard that I will not be able to rev as high with out it because the crank isnt balanced well..Now, what other things are important when doing this?? I know you have to run the oil lines but are there any other modifications that i will have to do to make this all work??Basicly Im looking for answers from some people that have done this and no what can be a PITA when running this set up..
TIA
Jude

No a girdle is not necessary. I don't have one, and haven't had one for over a year now. I rev high too. Now as far as oil lines are you going turbo or what?

Are you confusing the windage tray for a block girdle?

I sell theses all the time you have to plug the oil hole in the block. The reason why these motors don't rev high in the first place would be a poor oiling system when compared to vtec Oil systems..

help me out
im trying to decide between the b18b and b20b/z, boosting if i get either one. Now my question is the b20 worth spending the extra $400 or should i just go w the ls and use that extra money on the turbo? what do you think, i cant decide.
How much of a difference would the b20 feel over the b18? thnks in advance everyone.
