hello all, i havent been on in nearly three years. sold my integra a while back and finally got into another honda. i purchased a 97 civic lx. currently it has a full exhaust including headers, antenna block off (because honestly who the hell uses the radio anymore?) the windows came tinted (not a fan of the tint job).
car needed a little work which i did today. I had to re wire the highbeam on the passenger side because some idiot screwed it up and the wires pulled out of the connector, also had to take the rear doors apart to fix lock and handle issues which required me to make a c-clip from sheet metal so the handles worked. i also felt it worth while to install a better looking grille.
well this is my current project car/daily driver.

needs a bath i know. its been sitting almost all winter.

 

here I am now in the process of compiling a parts list for a b-series swap. Wytemike (if thats his name on here) could be daluv, has a b18b1 that will soon be mine. I could use a hand in figuring out what else is needed.
Ive got basically everything written down but still lost on a few things such as, will the b18 work with factory d16y7 mounts? will I need a ECU from an integra? how about shift linkage? I have perused countless threads but all point back to pre 95 civics. I figured this would be a fairly straight forward swap.
the only downside is that the motor needs to be put back together and needs new bearings on cyl 4, a rod, arp bolts and probably valves. on top of a timing belt/water pump and so on. that all being said, if anyone has info to push, let me hear it. thank you all in advance.
