ZC rev problems

Default ZC rev problems

zc in a 88 hb the engine starts and idles fine but you can punch the gas and it revs all the way to the redline with ease but slowly give it some gas and the engine stumbles like its hitting the rev limiter at only 1500 rpm no codes on ECU dx-si wiring all correct new dist well hell new everything so someone help me out???

I know when I put a zc in my civic it did the same sort of thing. Mine only did it until it was up to full operating temperature. It was like it was bogging out when I tried to get on the gas alittle bit. I set the timming to stock specs and that helped a little. It always still did that everyonce in awhile. The mechanic at my local shop said that it was running rich.

what ecu are you using? i know that the 89 teg ecu will cause your car to run really rich. the only problem i had putting mine in was the vacuum lines, but i got them all right now! id say check your vacuum lines, thats my opinion though. good luck!!!
