OK, I hit the gas pedal and try to maintain the throttel at 2g rpm's But from 1750 till 2500, its impossible. All it will do it raise and drop over and over again. I leave the gas pedal extally the same. But above 2500 rpm's, it can maintain rpm's just fine. The main reason why its buggin me is becasue if I go like 25-35 MPH in fifth gear, its a rough ride. The car will just loose speed and then go up again. But it looses all speed fast, kinda jerky. And I jsut leave the gas pedal at the same place. If I let off the throttle, its smoth, but going about 30, it will shut down, and go again. I have to downshift to like 3rd gear so Im in higher rpm's so that it won't jerk around. Any help would be nice.

one suggestion that i have which fixed my crappy idle is to check your throttle cable make sure its not to tight or too loose if that doesnt work sometimes a bad pcv valve causes a bad idle
The way too tell if its the pcv valve remove it and shake it if you cant hear a ball bounceing up and down inside it replace it

i know its not the trottle cable. One other thing I found out. It only does it when the car is warmed up. And I mean like a good 10 miles of driving before it starts doing it. could it still be the pcv valve??? I have no idea. help me out here.

check for vaccuum leaks, do a compression test, and a leakdown test.

ok, ill check vacume lines, but I don't have quipment to do the tests. I would have to take it somewhere. But ill see about vacume leaks.

nothin worked. its still a problem. It pisses me off when I drive, goes, slows, goes, slows. and the main thing is that its so jerky. Please help me!!!

what is that? Fill me in on the icv. This is starting to bug me. SO Ill look into anything.

the IACV is the "Intake Air Control Valve" it is located on hte intake manifold and changes the amount of air that bypasses the throttle body at idle.
i suggest you do a search on 'IACV' inb hte achives...

hey, i ran a search. But all i could find was 2 people selling their ITR iacv. And the gsr one is different. I am looking at my iacv on top my intake. and it looks right. I dunno. I know that 1 hose goes from the back of the intake to the iacv, and the other hose goes to the black canister. Does that sound right? But which line do I use off the black canister? help me out. If your confused, I can show you a pic.

ok, that worked. I read a lot of it, and it kinda sounds like my iacv is bad. so i guess ill look into a new one.

well, its still doing it. I noticed that when ever I get on it, then it will do it after that. Like lets say I jsut give her off a stop light, after that it will act all stupid. ANd it really sucks casue when I take off, it will start to go, then rpm's will drop and car will jerk really bad. Any help would be nice.

I had a problem like when I got my swap done. it turn out to be the wire harness near the ecu. Check the injector wire near the ecu and near the injector. Turn the car on and move around the wires to see how the car reacts to it. Let me know if that is your problem.

well, i found out its not the wiring by the ecu. I moved the wiring around for a while, and it did nothing. When ever I give my car, it will act stupid. Im thinking maybe the iacv valve is dirty, or bad. Ill have to buy a new o- ring and clean out the valve. Maybe that will work.
