Wiring VTEC to 89 CRX DX??????????

Wiring vtec is the same as a Si/HF would be. The difference is DX models have to be converted to Multi Port Fuel Injection. It sounds difficult, but really isnt too bad. Hybrid Honda has a good DPFI to MPFI write up on their site. Good luck-

Exactly. It depends on what type of motor and setup you are going with but chances are you will need to convert the DX harness to the MPFI wiring. I guess you could reuse the DPFI if you were staying SOHC but the performance loss......
The VTEC wiring would be no different from the other models. There are 2 wires to run for the pressure switch and 1 for the solenoid, it's not hard to do at all.
