Is wiring the same for a jdm b16 as it would be for b16a2(99Si)
I am in the process of swapping a jdm b16 from my EG into my 91 crx Si. Now the b16 is over 100,000 miles and getting tired. So my friend has the motor from his 99 Si(b16a2) which I can get for dirt cheap and it has low miles. Now my question is, if the car is already wired for the b16a, do I have to change anything to put in the b16a2 instead? Any response is appreciated.

Far as I know, geometry is all the same, so all my mounts/linkage/cable to hydro conversion will work the same. I am just concerned with wiring. I'm using a p28 ecu so I still run 1 o2, correct?

Just reuse all of the OBD related stuff (distributor, injectors, ecu, etc.) from the older B16 that is in the car now onto the newer B16A2. You will need to change the driver's side mount bracket on the B16A2 to the bracket from the older B16 also.

Thanks. On another note, how are you liking the LHT intercooler setup? Do you feel it was money well spent?
