Performance/loss of power/hesitation problems!
My 92 civic VX eg hatch with 95 b18c1 is having troubles again. the motor has about 90k miles and I just recently replaced all the gaskets and new piston rings. It has been running good for a while but now there is a problem.
The motor has a hesitation problem whenever I give it gas.. Especially if I put the pedal down, the car just chugs and coughs along. Obviously sounds like an injector clogged or something along those lines. Well, first I checked my ecu codes for problems. I looked under the hood in my fuse box and found that the back-up fuse (7.5a) was blown. (THis isnt the first time its been blown in the past 3 months). Anyhow so I replace it and check my codes. I start the car and the codes pop up with a 1 (heated o2 sensor circuit) 41 (heated o2 sensor heated circuit) and a code 14 (idle air control valve). those are the three codes it spits and none have to do with the injectors. Also, since I did my o2 rewiring it has thrown these codes and my car managed to run fine with them until now... Any suggestions.. I don't want to rip apart my injectors looking for a problem because I happen to have checked them when I did my piston rings a few months back. One was bad so I replaced it and put new rings on all of them... Any ideas that could be causing this problem?
