Wiring question: Vtec into a 91
I just did a D16Y8 swap into my 91. other than the VAFC that i have, what other wiring do i need to do to get the vtec to activate. I want to make sure everything is perfect before i start installing the turbo kit. Thanks.

Ohh ok. So you're wiring up VTEC to the V-AFC correct?
Sorry, I'd help ya on pinouts but I don't currently know **** on V-AFC lol

Re: Wiring question: Vtec into a 91 (poison)
OK, right now i am running the wire from the solinoid straight to the Vafc but there is a connector on the side of the solinoid also that is for 2 wires which if i remeber right is for the oil switch. Those are the 2 wires that i am tryiing to find out what to do with.

You will not need to worry about those. That is the VTEC oil pressure sensor. I'm not sure if the V-AFC is required to have the oil pressure sensor hooked up to it, but I sincerely doubt it.
The SOHC VTEC is mainly solenoid switched at a given RPM anyway. It's mainly DOHC VTEC's that are actually based on 'oil pressure' and such, with a given RPM by checking the oil pressure.
You will only need to connect the VTEC solenoid 1 wire to the V-AFC, as for the Oil pressure sensor, just as long as you are not using a VTEC ecu looking for the vtec oil pressure sensor, you will not need to wire it up. VTEC will still switch on from the V-AFC.
