Wiring harness question?????
What he is looking to know is the motor that he will putting in will be Obd1 motor can we modify the obd2 harness with ease. To make it work or should we just grab a obd1 harness (I see them go as low as 20 dollars on ebay) and go form there???
if u have a dx then u have wire vtyec and knock sensor..
u can make ur life easier by hgetting an ex harness of the same year and that way vtec will already b wired...
since u say ek..which we don;lt have here..i'll assume a hatch and dx or cx...then u can jus reuse ur dx/cx harness but wire up the vtec and the knock sensor..and ur done..
u can;t use the gsr harness..u might need to reuse plugs from there though.,.the iacb i think..

No, only a 96-98 civic harness will work. You can mod your stock harness to work or buy a 96-98 EX harness for plug and play(for the most part, you need to change the dizzy, alt, injectors, and wire the tach signal).

That is the thing you will have to make. I would redo the stock harness, but I know the harnesses inside and out so it is easier for me to rework it and not have to worry about problems. The wiring is easy, the troubleshooting is the hard part.
Your wiring is easy, take your time and make sure it is right.
