Default GSR swap wiring question

I am putting an obd2 usdm gsr into my 94 dx civic. With the motor I got the 96 wiring harness, but it seems hacked up. Could I just use my civic harness and change the plugs on it for injectors and alternator, etc? I know I will have to add in vtec and knock. WHich harness would you use?

Would it be easier to fix up the gsr harness, or just add what i need to the dx harness?

use the harness that came with the car and then use the extra plugs from the obd2 wire harness and use a jumper harness for you ecu

I would just use the DX harness and add all the VTEC related sensors to the harness including IAB and knock sensor wiring. You can either repin the distributor or use a conversion harness and repin the alternator plug to use the 96's. Also you can just repin the injector harness plugs too.
