Default B18C1 EK Hatchback?!?!!

Can anybody help this EK GS-R? I put a 95 OBD1 B18C1 engine into my 96 OBD2 hatchback. I went with the OBD1 ECU and just bought a jumper to plug up to my wiring harness. Now I am having trouble hooking up all the wires to the engine. I used my OBD2 engine wiring harness onto the GS-R and we can't figure out the OBD2 harness so the IAB, IAC, and Purge valve solenoid are not hooked up yet. Does anybody know what to do or knows anybody that can help!

I just recently put an obd1 b18c into a 96 dx. I cut off the IAC,IAT, distributor plugs, and alternator plug from the gsr harness and wired them up to the dx harness. Then i had to run the knock sensor, vtec oil pressure, and vtec solinoid wires seperately since the dx harness doesnt have them. I also had to cut away some of the loom on the harness so the map and tps sensor plugs would reach. You will also have to run the wires for the IAB solenoid since the civic harness doesnt have those wires.

What does the IAB wire look like and where can I find it on the engine?

Willis, what did you do about the Purge solenoid valve? We haven't been able to get that to work so I don't have some vacuum lines working. Also, do you have a diagram on how you connected all the wires? Thanks for the help so far.

i didnt hook up the purge solenoid. Just buy the Haynes manual for the 1994-1998 integra/1996-98 civic, that manual has all the wiring diagrams you will need..and its only $12!!

Ok I bought the book and did the wiring without the purge but I still have a check engine light. 3 codes IAC, IAT, and o2 sensor heater. For the IAT my wire harness has 3 wires but the GSR only has 2, do you remember how you worked around this?? Also, what did you do about the other o2 plug??

For the IAT you will have to use two of the three wires and make sure they go to
the right pins on the ecu.

keep in mind in most states it is against the law to put an engine that is older than your car into your car.

even if you do live in one of these states the inspection places may not even look.

just keep it in mind

Which two of the three do you hook up to what?
The 2000 SI IAC sensor has a yellow/black and a black/blue wire.
The 97 DX harness has a yellow/black, a black/blue, and an orange wire.
According to the factory schematics, the orange wire is the negative.
On the harness is the yellow/black and the black/blue get 12v+ when I turn on the ignition.
I have a 92-95 EX (P28) computer that's been chipped and the adapter harness.
The wiring harness in the car is 97 DX.
The engine is a 2000 SI (B16A2).
I cannot get the car started. It turns over and has fuel and spark.
Anyone have some advice on this or has already done the swap? Any advice would be appreciated.
