Default Will disconnected KS cause CEL?
if knock is not wired in will it cause the ecu to default into full retarded timing?

yes, also known as safe mode. you will need to wire up knock sensor.

yes unless you have a chipped p28 then it won't

If your ECU has the knock sensor feature and you don't wire it up or disconnect it then it will throw the CEL and run in safe mode.

i guess that would explain why its slower then a single cam

time to go wire in knock sensor

heh yeah, the stock honda KS is wack, it hellified kicks back timing when it detects any sort of knock, even the smallest of knockage.
