Since you have a JDM GSR engine, you can use AEM CAI for 99-00 Civic Si. No mod needed.

Wait a minute, if you're talking about the DUAL-BUTTERFLY intake manifold and a CAI, then the ITR one won't work.
When I had my old B18C1 set-up, I ran an AEM Short Ram. I always wanted a CAI, but I couldn't find one that fit.
Then I saw on some website where some guys had taken an AEM CAI for a 1995 GS-R and cut it in 2 places - one of which reduced the angle of the bend near the filter. I could not even begin to tell you where to fiund that site - this was a few years ago.
If you have the other intake manifold, like an ITR, Skunk2, or B16A, then the ITR or 99-00 Civic Si AEM CAI will work just fine. I run the 99-00 Civic Si on my ITR swap in my 1992 Hatch.
Later.

If you have a GSR, then you'll need a GSR intake, not a ITR intake.

If u have a GSR motor in your hatch, get the intake for GSR.
the way teh GSR intake manifold sit lower then the ITR manifold and Si manifold, so those intake wont fit right.
