Where to tap into ECU/wire to install a monster tach
I have a 88 CRX Si with a B18c. I am tired of shifting using the stock CRX tach by letting it go past 8K revs on the meter, then pegging and waiting two seconds before the shift. I have an autometer monster tach that I want to install. Can anyone tell me where the signal for the tach would be coming out of the ECU or direct me to a wire (location and color on a CRX) to tap into? I have Hondata but didn't see anything on it that looked like a likely suspect to tap into. Thanks.
