where does the other end of this hose hook up to? its a b18c1 in a 97 dx

 

That could either supply the FITV, or the IACV. It all depends on what combination of water pipe, coolant necks, intake manifold, throttle body you are using. The only real ones that are important are the IACV. If that is supplied, just plug it. That doesn't look like the standard B18C1 coolant neck anyway.

Plugged it but now im pouring coolant from underneath the car on the passenger side and i have no heat...i dont think this hose is even long enough to hook up to the heater core. Im stumped

 

Should go right on bottom of throttle body

 

it appears to go on the thermostat housing.



as far as no heat, make sure all the hoses are hooked up in their correct places.

 

There is no nipple for it to hook up to on the thermo. Ive spent a week trying to figure this out

 

I now have heat but still have this hose that hooks up to nowhere. When i plug it..colant pours from the bottom plastic hose thats connected to the charcoal canister

 

So when you leave it unplugged, your saying it stops leaking and your heat comes back? just leave it then. could be just a breather tube or something.
