Default P28 or P72???

I am sending my ECu to hondata and I have both of them laying around. I don't know which one I should use with my setup. I have a Skunk2 intake manifold so the secondary runner is not a concern. And right now I have the base map for the P28 but I was thinking that the P72 would be better b/c it has the Knock sensor on it...Help me make my decision so I can get my ECU sent out.

i had fully built JG Pro series block using stage 4b and P28. Also have skunk2 manifold. I sold my Gsr ecu cause i could get more money for it than a P28. Car was running fine up until 3,000 miles. All i can say is JG= Junk Garage.

Send the p28 out and sell the p72. p72 ecu's are worth a lot of money these days. I found out that the knock sensor on the p72 with hondata turns out to be more annoying then benifitial l. The knock sensor likes to come on just for the hell of it sometimes even when it's not suppose to. The knock sensor detects vibrations on the motor so if you have poly mounts for instance it will go off even though are fine. Most of the time I just disable the knock sensor with ap72 ecu and hondata.

So P28... Anyone say use the P72? The knock sensor has been going off on me every once in awhile. I can't figure out if the CEL is benefical or not. I do know it is annoying. I just flip my car on and off while driving and it goes away. But if it really is knocking I do want to know i guess. I have JE pistons and ureathane motor mounts.

If you get it tuned properly you wont have to worry about anything. Sell the p72 ecu becuase you can probably get $300 bucks for it which will help you recooperate the cost of tuning etc.. The p28 ecu will be fine with hondata.
