Default what shift linkage is this?

i posted this in the eg+ civic forum but i thought i should post it here actually. i just bought a 97 honda civic cx with a b16a2 swap in it. the rod shift linkage(one that has the little split pin holding it on) is square shape towards the tranny end of it, instead of being tubular shape all the way. i was just wondering is this the right linkage for the swap? it shifted fine and felt right but i just wanted to make sure. thank you
