Default What is the right drivers side bracket?

I just got my innovative mounts and while installing them to the motor/tranny I found that the drivers side mount wouldn't line up with the studs on the bracket that bolts to the engine. The B18C5 I am installing into my '90 CRX si was pulled out of a '94 del sol so I am wondering if they had changed the bracket. I was guessing that "fits all B series engines" means I would simply bolt it on. I didn't realize I would have to search out and find other parts to make it work. I did take off the bracket from the dead D motor but found it was not the answer. I am going to contact innovative tomorrow but I was curious if anyone had been through this and had a solution. If anyone needs more info just ask.

Usually for first gen swaps you will always use a first gen post mount and rear bracket. get it off of a 90-93 integra

does the mount have 2 studs coming up out of it. if so are they parallel with the timing cover and has a bolt hole also between the studs but over toward the motor, or is there just 2 studs that are at different spacings from the motor.

The bracket that came with the engine has two studs on it. They are parallel with the timing cover. The innovative mount is setup for a bracket that has studs offset. Is getting a bracket off of a 90-93 integra the solution? The problem is, even though there are a bunch of junkyards in my area only one will allow you to walk out in the yard. All others don't sell things individually. I would have to buy the front half of a car damn near to get anything. The one junk yard that lets you walk around the yard is way over priced and only have about 4 Honda's. They are stripped already and only useless junk remains. Anyone with the right bracket who is willing to part with it, please let me know.

Oh yes it does have a bolt hole between the studs but closer to the engine. I didn't answer that accurately enough..... You are right, Do you have a solution?

ok their are two different engine brackets for the drivers side the one with 2 studs and a bolt is for 94-95civic, 94-95 del sol(maybe 96-97 also?????) and 94-?01? integra. the one with two studs at an angle is 92-93 civic, and I think 96-00 civic. if you have pictures i could tell you what you need but my motor came from a 93 civic sir and my car had the 94-95 mount(factory billet aluminum) anyway i just ordered a 95 gsr drivers motor bracket and it bolted right up. the bracket was about $ 38 i think but the motor mount was alot more expensive. so buy the bracket its cheaper than the mount.

I called Innovative today and the guy said I have to get a '90-'93 Integra post mount and a '90-'93 Integra rear bracket. He said they are relatively cheap at the dealer but I would imagine someones got something like that laying around. Anyone?????

Here is an example of how pathetic the junk yards are around my area:

I called three today and two don't have any integra's and the other said he "may" have one but I would have to buy all the mounts as a package for $250.

Update.......

I called the honda dealer and once I mentioned I was looking for some mount brackets for an '90-'93 acura he jumped all over me saying acura parts don't fit on honda's and they cant get them. So I called the acura dealer and heard this guy go on and on about "I don't know what the hell a post mount or a rear mount is". This guy was talking to someone else trying to figure it out (bunch of damn inbred idiots). Finally the other guy gets on the phone and I have to describe exactly what they look like and exactly where they go on the car. After what seemed like an hour he finds them and tells me the price...... $90 each. That's not as cheap as I have heard before. Then here on HT I found a guy (b17integra) who is selling both for $60 shipped. I sent the money and haven't got a tracking number yet. Hope I didn't get scammed.

It turns out the dealerships are just as bad as the junkyards around here.
