sorry,,if this has been asked before,,,and im also the guy askin about a LS swaped hatch,,

but i think im not gonna try and buy that car with the LS swap,,and maybe just used the money i have to swap a GSR motor into my 94 hatch,,that allready looks pretty good

now,,what kinda qtr mile times are would i b runnin with the basic I/H/E????

alsoabout how much are the GSR swaps going for these days???i know a while back,,u could find then for 3000-3500 depending on mileage

if any of u have a GSR swaped hatch,,,please tell me if u have had any probs,,or what u dont like about it

My buddy has a 95 Si hatch with a 95 B18C1 motor, Intake, header, exhaust, CTR intake cam, sprockets, and MT 6x20x14 slicks. He burned a couple different programs for his ECU and his best run to this date is 13.12 @ 103.85. If you can do this same type of tuning on ur GSR hatch I'm sure you can be just fast with the same mods if not a lil faster cuz you gots the DX chassis! Oh and i've never heard of anyone with a really bad GSR swap, i've seen a GSR hatch's dynoing at 185whp and only run low 14's on slicks but that's mainly just the driver. Good luck!!!!

a gsr swap into your DX with bolt ons will run low 14s 1/4 mile passes on street tires....one of the biggest problems hatchs encounter with any knd of decent power #s s wheel spin and major wheel hop....good suspention and tires will fix that though

well,,the car is lowered with GC coilover,,and now its on my 96 GSR rims for winter,,and i have kosie K1 racings,in 16 inch for summmer,,with parada

im gonna talk to a couple places near me,,and see what they say about doing a swap for me,,if its to much,,then im not gonna do it,,and ill just save for whenever the WRX STI comes over,,2004 prob,,and also see what the lancer evo 7 looks like,,and see what kinda times its runnin

Whoah...did he just put a CTR cam in his otherwise stock B18C1?! Just curious. I would assume he got himself a *chipped* ECU, new valvetrain, and even an ITR/Skunk2 ITR manifold.

I've got 3 buddies with B18C1 swaps and i/h/e and they run 14.6 all day long on street tires here in Georgia where all the times seem a tick or two too slow for the rest of the country...what gives?

Because everone else seems to live 175 feet below see level. Those times seem pretty acurate for a tha chassis with full interior.
