Yes i agree the car looks nice. And good job getting the Other R motor!! Noone really has those! NICE but theres always a but. If i were you when the motor was out i would of painted the engine bay as well and i kinda think that windshield visor throws it all off. But definetly still looks great I have to agree on the gun metal ITR though!
all in all nice.

nice job.
any problems with the neuspeed bar hitting the motor? i swapped a b16a2 into my 96 coupe and had to take the bar off (i loved that bar) b/c it touched the oil cap.
i dig the factory airbox too - i just changed mine back to stock to pass smog, minus the part in the bumper, and it sounds much quieter, with little to no loss of power (that i can feel). gonna throw a k&n in there and leave it except for events.

Re: CTR engine in my 98 EX: finally on the road (ruthless013)
Thanks for the love!!
I'm still getting used to having an R engine under the hood. Before the swap i would have been extremely happy with an SiR, but then i run into this beauty. It was a half-cut, a 99 JDM CTR, litterally the front half of it. I transplanted every bit i possibly could, engine, tranny, big brakes, radiator, ac, p/s, TypeR gauges etc. The car only had 22,000 km on the clock and they started the engine for me before i bought it!!!
The old engine was removed, the bay painted metallic silver, the body beetle yellow and the hood glossy black.
The whole lot set me back approx 2,500 US$. Painting and fitting were free, actually a barter deal.
Now i'm planning some upgrades, plenty of things available for the B16B. On my whish list are the SPOON computer, flywheel and clutch. I just flipped through their 2002 catalogue, a million dollars wouldn't be enough for all the goodies they sell!
Watch this space for more, some minor upgrades on the way.
Peace
