Default What to get for a b16a2 in a 94 civic?

As the topic says, I ran the engine for 600 miles on a p28. I am not sure what is the "right" ECU for my engine. I am having trouble trying the figure out which ECU will directly connect in the cabbin. Anyone got suggestions? I know there are lots of ones you can use, I just need to knwo what one....THANKS!!

Car: 94 Civic EX
Engine: JDM B16A2

ok there is no such thing as a jdm b16a2.

JDM will be b16a (first gen, 88-91, second gen 92-95, both will just say b16a)

so im ASSUMING you are talking about a second gen b16, use a p30 ecu from a del sol vtec, or the jdm SIRII.

WRONG. The P28 is a VTEC ECU: it's the ECU used in the 92-95 Civic EX/Si and Del Sol Si. Since you already have a P28, I would have it rechipped to DOHC VTEC specs. Contact Kenji on this board if you want that done. If not, like Kamin said you could use an OBDI P30 as well.

P61 i beleive what mine is (93 gs-r) connects rite up.
as stated before either sir2 ecu, del sol vtec, or obd1 gs-r ecu will all connect rite up.
The only thing i don't like about the p28 is that you cant run a knock sensor with it.

I dont know about that. The Vtec kicks in really strong when I hit 5200 rpms. I have been told befor that the vtec wouldnt work but is does for sure running my p28, why is this?

O yeah, sorry I did not mean "JDM".
