im just wonderng what gear can you guys peel at particularly you h22 EG guys. list you est hp/tq too because i know friend who has a turbo h22 eg that peels out at 5th easy(wtf).
im having trouble peeling out at first gear sometimes, i got a stock h22 in a cx. im just confused why because everyone i know can peel 2nd gear easy while i cant even do first gear. peelin is not what im lookin for, its just a sign for me that your car has power to put down but cant(car doesnt "feel" 13sec right now)

I can (peel) in third with my y8. Your h22 has some issues. Quit posting on h-t and either get a dyno or at least run a compression check.

you have an h22 in your civic and you can't peel out in first gear??

My d15b2 motor would chirp second all the time, and do some long burnouts if I wanted.

Also, if I can peel out in a friends 62hp HF crx, you have some major problems.

with the clutchmaster stage 5 i could chirp 5th! that was cool!

and we just swapped a jdm h22a in my friends del sol(93) and that ***** ****** has no traction PERIOD in 1st, if you go half throttle, looses traction, if you shift hard to 2nd, looses traction in 2nd, it torque steers(hard) all the way up to 4th gear...

my b20 has 0 traction in 1,2 as well, 3rd is so-so - and i only have 210 compression in my b20

do you have any cel's, compression, leakdown?

b20/vtec/turbo on 7psi had no traction in 4th...was insane...this was also in a crx(we just finished this car)

maybe your timing is way off. that makes a big difference. i read about a gsr motor that was off like 9 degrees and went from 15.7 to 13.9 in the quarter. i dont kno how much power those h22 have, personally ima b series kinda guy. so if it were my car and i fo sho couldnt figure it out then id take er to a shop to get it tuned up rite. thats the only time id degress myself to a shop (i think i used the rite word) is if i couldnt figure wtf was up with my car...

lsd marking pavement on both tires until 75mph (from any speed when nailed in first 3 gears).... would squack afterwards...allmotor h22a....

in my 92 si with 95 gsr swap with act xxss clutch/ streetlite flywheel i peeled in every gear.....
