YES FINALLY I HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM. I just bought a swapped b16 usdm eg. p28 ecu redlines between 6700 and 7500 or so. hard to tell cause the steering wheel is right in my view. but yeah what are u using for an rpm gauge. stock or aftermarket? cause i hear the old rpm gauge doesnt work right if you swap engines. also i think the p28 needs to be chipped to work right. sohc vtec to dohc is gonna be alot different. i dont know how to tell if mine was chipped or not. does anyone have pictures of chipped and non chipped p28 ecus? or any similar ecu?

P28 ecu can use P30 maps so the only difference among those two is that the p30 have a knock board.
