Compression #'s on an 92-93 ls motor
i did a Compression test on my motor and the numbers are 1#-210 2#-212 3#-212 4#- 212 this seames a little high to me but thats what the numbers are . dose someone know what tha should be ?

Is the motor stock? I've never seen a stock Ls hit 210 and as far as the other three cylinders they are very low my last swap (LS) did 190 all across

no not that i know of. i got it from a junk yard and it had the stock timing belt and fore the 112 i ment to say 212 sorry

High numbers mean little to nothing. Remember, carbon build up, elevation, amount of cranking, valve clearances, brand of gauge, etc will all effect compression results. Everyone gets so cought up in the numbers game. You should only be taking the following away from this compression test...
Your numbers aren't extremely low
Your numbers are all within the allowed tollerance
Thats all you should be concerned with.
