Default what ECU to use....?

friend recently just got a JDM itr swap for his eg
he is wondering what ecu should he use ?
choices are chipped p28 but doesnt really want to use it cuz of how much gas it eats or would a p30 ecu work juss as a good as a ITR ecu (p73)

I personally would go with a P28 and use hondata or crome and either tune or find someone to tune. this will work great given the tuner knows what to do.

Hell, if it were my car, I'd use the JDM ITR ecu with an obd1-2a ecu adapter..

Shameless plug, but hell, might as well run the right ecu for the motor, especially if the motor is near stock..
