what should i drop in my eg hatch, h22a, b16a2, b18c1, (dont say c5 cause im not that rich) ive heard different opinions, whats everyone think?

I would be stuck between a h22 and a b18...h22a would be quicker though. I'd say h22a, skip the b16 if you can afford these engines.

daily driven?

for drags, auto-cross, show car?

its a daily driver, but a weekend racer, um i dont know im stuck between the two, and is it true that b18c1s on pass emissions

not sure what you're asking as far as the emissions but if you're swapping in a stock motor it'll pass emissions. It must have before the swap, right? Weekend racer doing what? Drag, auto-x, HPDE's or time trials? I would assume drag racing so I would recommend the H22 also. With all the torque those things have I would make sure to get one with an LSD to help with traction. Plus, they are a bargain for the $$.

well if you wanna go B18C1, that's around $3500ish, for $500 more you can buy a complete CTR engine (as a walkin customer) at Jdmhondaparts.com (shamless pluggy). But I don't know if you're in the S.CA area.
