what do you guys think about this K20a motor?
They are asking $6500 canadian for the whole swap. I am wondering if it would be better to get and H22 J-spec for $2400 (that's what they asked for) and use the extra money to turbo the engine. I am looking to build a car to have fun with on the summer weekends and run in the 12.0-12.5 second range. What do you guys think is my best option?
By the way, I have a 94 hatch that I will gut, lower, "roll-cage it" (LOL), and add some 17 altezzas!! (JUST KIDDING MAN )

From what I've researched it sounds pretty decent.

Well you gotta figure that your paying that much just for the swap. then your gonna need mounts and any other things you need to do the swap and if your not doing it yourself then you gotta pay someone to swap it. It's gonna add up pretty quick. For that money you can have the h22 and build it a little and make more power. But its up to you.

why bother getting old tech when u can buy a taste of NEW technology</TD></TR></TABLE>
I dunno....ask the guys running 60's and 70's era Chevy 350 sb blocks with carbs that are still running 10's and less
The prices people are charging for these K series engines sounds more like *** rape to me. Well, partly because of everything else I'd want to do to it...the cost will be waaay more. Hell, I just saw a B18C1 longblock for like $1700....that's still *** rape to me!
