I was searching around at junkyards today because last night i crashed my civic and fucked up the door and quarterpanel. I just replaced them last summer because the previous owner hit a deer.

So i bought a fender and while searching around i found a new si hatch sitting in the yard.....and asked how much i could get the engine for. He said that one wasn't for sale but they had a 02 si with 17,000 miles and the complete swap axels and ecu, tranny and everything for $2500 . I am wondering if that is a good deal and what kind of engine that even is? Also is this swap a hard swap and how long could i do it in? Could someone please help me
