Default STRANGE IDLE PROBLEM, HELP

just recently got JDM type r motor swapped into my 94 integra. Car runs nice but has a strange idle problem. At a stand still the car idles fine. But once i get moving the car runs good until i let off the gas, the car starts to rev and then it stays idle at 3000 rpm. it doesn't get back to normal until i come to a complete stop. Once i start moving again the same cycle starts over again. Does anyone know why its doing this? At a stand still the car idles perfect. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a revving problem but I replaced my TPS today. After that it doesn't rev anymore but is sitting at 2.5k on the rev. So I think it might be the same problem as you guys? I am gonna clean the IACV tomorrow.

Make sure there is slack in the throttle cable when the throttle valve is closed. You can get away with more slack than you would think.

Posible fixi

have a 96 jdm(rhd) ITR and i had the same prob
to fix this all u need is a volt meter and a philips screwdriver and a friend to help .
step 1. attach volt meter to TPS sensor have some one start the car.
step 2. volt meter should read .4 or 4. volts depending what volt meter u are using.
step 3. if TPS is not reading 4 volts then with screwdriver loosin screws just enough to move TPS around back and forth or up or down until volt meter reads 4 volts
step 4.after u get a 4 volt reading tighten screws and disconnect volt meter and that should fix prob.

I had spent many hours tring to find out why i had that prob I even put on a new idle air contol and that diddn't work but when i check the TPS volts it was reading 2.8-3.2 volt then i mad the adjustments to get 4 volts and it idled like new.So i hope this info helps fix the prob
