Default Weird, code 22 and 23, but vtec still activates.

I am getting a code 22 and 23 from my lsvtec(pr3 ecu, 91 teg chasis). I am using a fields vtec controller with it, but the thing is not even powered on, but vtec is still activating even with the solenoid and pressure switch codes......is there any explanation to this or what, it just does not seem right at all.

The fields doesn't see the codes, it is activating VTEC anyway.

Nah, it still activates aruond 4800 or so...I replugged the knock sensor(came unhooked)) but still get the code 22.
When I put the vtec controller in, isn't the pressure switch completly disconnected from the ecu? I know one of the wires is.
