Weak feeling vtec

Default Weak feeling vtec

just wanted to know what can make vtec weak.. my buddy and i both have h22 ek's .. i have flywheel, fpr, p72 2 1/2in intake with **** filter... compared to hsi stock h22 with just aem cold air.. and his vtec kicks .. where mine i have to turn off the music to hear it.. just wondering if its the ecu or something i could check into...

smooth vtec crossover is better...just means you lower end power is high

A clean aem intake makes a big difference in the noise and kick of the vtec. makes it sound nice and deep, clean out your intake filter. Oil is the other thing that effects the vtec, weak pressure or low oil.
