vtec press.switch?
Anybody know where the vtec pressure switch is on a b18c and besides making them longer do the o2 sensor wires have to be moved in the connector? oh dumb question where the #$&* is the purge solenoid?

Re: vtec press.switch? (jess press)
the vtop is near the vtec solenoid on the head of the passenger side of the motor. as for extending wires no need to move wires around. as for the evap if the motor is OBD1 then it is near the Tbody and if it is a OBD2 motor it is on top of the intake manifold

Re: vtec press.switch? (smart monkey)
If its a geniune b18C meaning JDM TYPE R...I beleive they dont come with a pressure switch...i believe you have to jump the VTEC pressure switch with the Vtec solenoid(at the ecu) in order to trick your ecu...but do a search i know for a fact that it is very well covered here...

its in the same place as every other VTEC solenoid on B series engines... you'll know if its missing, because theres holes in the head right where it goes... just in front of the distributor right by the exhaust cam end cap..
