I am curious if anybody could tell me if they recognize this vtec solenoid assembly. I am really interested in the location of the vtec pressure switch and I have yet to find a picture with the pressure switch in this same location on another motor.


Reason being, I do not believe the motor pictured actually ever came with a vtec pressure switch. When looking into this i could find no vtec pressure switch's in this same location, heading out towards the front of the car like that.

Your help is much appreciated.

That switch was added. JDM OBD2 B-series motors do not have a Vtec oil pressure switch.

thats from an EX civic SOHC VTEC motor bolts right up to any b-series.
