i can get a brand new one out the box and installed on my motor for $3000. should i get it? i heard superchargers are better for daily driven cars. any good or bad things you heard abotu the kit? and i plan to run it at 8 or 9 psi, that should be good enough boost because im not looking to go all out an try to have the fastest honda in the bay lol

Brand new Vortech, out-of-a-box for $3000. I think that's great deal. Go for it. (If I'm not wrong, it usually cost about $5k and up for brand new). It'll be good boost for everyday driving, yet you can smoke yourself some Civics and 'tegras on your way home. Good luck...(good thing you're not in my turf,....hate to get smoked by you).

Yeah thats a smokin' deal, I'd do it if I had the cash. I had a SC'd D-series before my swap and it was good for daily driving. The HP/torque curve made it feel like a bigger motor. That was a Jackson Racing one which is a little different in power delivery compared to a Vortech

yeah thats and extremely good deal, and i think you said installed as well, you cant beat that considering thats a couple hundred bucks worth of labor as well.

alrite cool, everyone on the forced induction board are anti S/C. they are all GO TURBO. but im just tryin to keep it legal and its gunna be a every day driver.
