Type R swap
A long block is the Head, Block, intake and exaust mani... and all internals... usually.. i think you want the short block itself... cause your better off buying the whole engine swap.. if you want the longblock you'll save money

it all depends... if you're getting a long block from the factory... it's just the block and the cylinder head w. all internals. you'll still need to buy your own fuel rails, intake manifold, exhaust manifold etc.
if you're buying from a dismantler, you can usually get them to throw EVERYTHING you need w. a "long block" setup except for the tranny, wiring harness, and ecu.
prices for these swaps from a legitimate salvage yard w. papers go for easily $6000... long block alone w. distributor, ignition, everything minus the harness and ecu/tranny go for about $4500...
people think i smoke crack when i list the legit prices... you can get cheaper, but you better look around and check the info on it.
