Default Type R fuel rail's on B16

I was wondering if there is a difference in any performance gains by swapping out a b16 fuel rail with one of a type r or a gsr one. I know that a fuel pressure reg is supposed to help out a lot but is there any need for me to get a different fuel rail rather than my b16 one? Also if I got a type R rail, would i need type r injectors?
