Yeah, check for codes first. That will point you in the right direction.

when you wire up your tps you need to check to make sure that you are getting 5 volts to the tps. Then check the signal voltage. It should be 0.5 volts when full shut, 4.5 volts at wot, and it should transition smoothly while you are opening the throttle.
there is no smooth transition in fact i have to slip the clutch or it will severely buck and i cant hardly stay at a constant speed i am throwing the code for the aic but it has been replaced twice but im told the tps wont throw a code if it is on wrong or whatever....... but yeah when i drive the transitions suck if i back of the throttle and try to eas back on it it bucks really bad ........ it is really getting annoying and any help is appreciated
Uuummm.... no, I mean there should be a smooth transition in the change in voltage. The voltage should change from 0.5 volts at full shut to 4.5 volts at full open. Go get a multimeter and check it. If you don't know what a multimeter is, go to radioshack and ask the guy at the counter.
If you are throwing a code for the aic, then there must be something wrong there. If it has already been replaced twice, then its probably a problem in the line or at the connectors. Get a multimeter and check for continuity from the wiring harness to the sensor.
