tps??
Ok i have a quick question.I have a 97 civic dx with a b18c swap, well not too long ago it threw a code PO122 (throttle position sensor circuit low input). So my first thought was to replace the tps, so i removed the tb and hacksawed into the rivets on the tps making them flathead screws.I then bought a new tps and replaced everything, but when i turned the car on the(cel) came back on and the problem remained. It idles hard between 3000rpms and about 5000rpms, so im thinking now the wiring may be bad, or maybe it's grounding out somewhere can anyone lead me in the right direction to fixing this.
thanks

yeah, you need to do that. you can't just screw a new one in and be on your way. at idle, need the volt reading to be ~.45V and ~5.0V at WOT.
quick explanation of what to do: put on the tps (leaving the screws loose so you can adjust the tps like you do your dizzy), probe the middle wire, turn the key to the on position (engine should still be off), adjust tps til readings are .45V, screw tps on tight in that position, clear codes, and you should be set.
