If you are getting a JDM GSR or ITR engine, then get a 96-98 civic ex harness. If you can't find one of these cheap, then buy a obd2b - obd2a jumper. Your SI harness is obd2b, so it won't work with the japanese computer without the jumper.

neither..i've never had any experience with the other one u were looking at but i got my swap from hondamotorsonline before it was hmotorsonline. I didn't exactly have the best experience with them. they advertised a 1998 jdm b18c for 5K. However I ended up with with a motor a little older either a 96 or 97. I asked if they were going to give me the jdm type r 4-1 headers with the motor i received. They agreed but a cast manifold was on the block when i got the motor. The motor got delivered pretty fast but after i got the motor in...within 3 days the tranny was FUBAR, and on my son's eyes i was not beating the car by any means. I'd be driving and the tranny would pop outa 4th all day long and sometimes freeze completely in 5th. also had a wicked lsd in it too...if i remember right it was a kaaz. the first time driving after the motor got in the car i thought i had put hydros on the damn thing first time pulling out of the driveway ****** thing hopped like a bitch ....ooh **** i went off on a tangent again sorry
ummm...i vote neither

total jdm sucks!! I purchase a b16a from them. they sent me the wrong ecu and the wrong axles. That didn't bother me as much as my trannies 3rd gear was grinding. When I finally got in touch with them they said they would take care of everthing . They gave me a refund for the wrong parts and broken tranny, only $300 but never receive the right ECU... And trying to get in touch with them SUCKS TOO. Don't go with them you will reget it.
