Default Timing question

Whats up everybody
Long time reader, first time posting.

I am just getting my gsr hatch back on the road after this sh***y winter, thank god

I just got some dc stainless 4-1's and am looking for some more power.

I have searched a bit on this topic and saw that some people have their timing advanced up to 19 degrees. I have heard that 2 or 3 degrees advanced is within Honda specs and safe to do.

Questions:
1. How do you advance timing without cam gears?
2. What is the most I can advance without running really lean and screwin everything up?
3. What kind or realistic whp am I lookin to gain?

Thanks in advance
