can i use the throttle lincage from my 98 civic hx on my b18c1 swap. it seems like the throttle cable is to long for the bracket or i need to move the bracket up, has anyone done this before?

I have a 92 civic, and I put a 99 gsr motor in it, used stock throttle linkage. no big deal, worked perfect. Jsut try it and see if it workes, if it doesn't make it work.

 

it will work but were the bracket to mount the lincage isnt long enough so i cant tighten the licage down. its like i need to extend the braket another 2 or 3 inches

 

what about an h22 swap into a civic...im guessing i must use the h22 throttle cable?

bump. Can anybody answer this question for sure. I have a b18b going into a 98 EX, Can i also use my stock throtle cable or do i need integra cable?

 

we used the stock cable. 94b18c1 in a 92 cx.
