throttle cable too long
i have a 91 civic hatch with a gsr motor, i'm pretty sure its got the gsr throttle cable, as it seems to be about right(maybe just and inch or so too long).
so the cable is adjusted all the way, but it still has alot of slack in it. are there any shorter throttle cables?
i'm thinking of just cutting the cable bracket and extending it.
and what about crimping something on the TB side of the cable to shorten it.
Has anybody done this?
heres a cheesy schetch

all I know, is tha either way it might end up looking like crap.
anybody got a cleaner looking solution?

okay i found a solution, I found some "wire stops" at the auto pars store, you cut the cable and slip the wire stop on, and screw in the set screw. so this basicly shortens the cable.
this will be much cleaner than my ideas.
hopefully this will help others

I just took a test drive, and imediatly noticed the difference. the gas pedal is much more responsive, this improves the cruising/drivability alot.
