Default swap question

i got b16a2, and i want to swap to a 92 vx , ok i want to keep obd2
because i want to leave it like it was in my 2k SI ,
but some one is telling me that I need a 92-95 ex harness
and a p28 or p30 ecu is this true?
because i thought i could just keep my 2k civic si ecu and use the same

The OBD1 and OBD2 plugs are different, so you will not be able to plug and play. I'm assuming you got the swap from a 2k SI that you had. You should probably use the SI harness, but I'm not sure how the interior harness would plug up. Either way, you will have to do some rewiring. Sorry if that didn't help.

i'm doing the same swap in my 95 cx, i'm going with my old cx harness on the b16a2 motor. i will probably use an obd 1 dist. don't like cutting and joinning wires. if you an xacto knife you can shave your old obd1 injector clips to fit si injectors.it takes a little time

well i decided to go obd1
so i am going to get me a 96-01 gsr or 97-01 typeR harness
that way i can use my b16a2 dist. and get my p07 chipped
would that work
and yes the p07 can be chipped

Chipping your P07 will work, but I'd reccommend a stock P30 or a chipped P28.
