Swap with IACV problems
We're switching a 1998 Civic LX over to a B16B set-up. Problem we are running into is the IACV connections. The IACV on the B16B is a two pin male connector, and the harness off of the LX is a three pin female connector (blk/blu, yel/blk, and orange wires). Of course the question is how to get this to work. I know someone else out there has dealt with this, (I did a search but couldn't find anything conclusive) We are confused with what wires to switch more than anything. Or is there a possibility of switching out for the original LX IACV? I've heard that the EX one will work but wasn't sure about the LX one. Thanks for your help guys.

Re: Swap with IACV problems (DuMpTuBe)
I dont know if this goes the same for you
but for my b18b going into 96 civic, I had to take the 2Pin from the b18b harness, and extend wires to my A12-A14 ECU. I didnt use the A13. I did this recently, so I cannot vouch yet if this is the correct wiring setup.

Re: Swap with IACV problems (DuMpTuBe)
the civic ECU uses the 3 wire setup:
Blk Blu - Sensor +
Orange - Sensor -
and Blk/Yel - sensor voltage
what you need to do to use it with the 2 wire b-series type is cut off the 3 wire connector and put a 2 wire onto the blk yel and blk blu wires.
You will also have to move 1 wire at the ECU side too. You said your car is a 98, but what ECU are you running on the new motor?
