Suspension setup on JDM H22A '94 Civic coupe dx
I just want to know if anyone had any recommendations on what suspension setup is good for my H22A hybrid. I don't have $1000+ to burn on true coilovers, so what are the absolute best (stiff) shocks i can buy for my fronts.
Also, I'm running on some 14in steelies with semi bald tires. Would it be better to run on 17s?
I practically burn tires from start to 4th gear (no exaggeration)
Any help is appreciated.

for under $1000, you are better off getting integra coil overs up front for avg driving. just depends on what kind racing you wil be doing and how often.
you can also get custom spring rates from many coil-over manufacters.

I am using tokico illumina 5 way adjustable struts with ground control coilovers that have custom spring rates to help with the "extra weight" of the h22 engine.

I just recently found out that ground control sells coilover sleeves and springs for a civics with h22 swaps. I don't know the spring rates, but I wish I would have known about this when I bought my gcs. I bought the integra rated gc's, but now I want something a little stiffer up front and in the rear. The type r gc's would prolly work well too, they have even higher spring rates then the regular integra ones right?

I would recommend as stated above teg froont sring rates on some skunks or GC's with a set of illuminas, that is what I was running, or get some some Tiens(what I run now) but the first set up I mentioned is relativley cheap and handles pretty well. As poison said above it all depends on what type of racing you do. I only drag so that is what I went with!

what axles are you using? im using cheap '90-'93 integra ls axles, im afraid they're gonna snap on me...how likely is that to happen? if you have custom axles, who made them and how much did they cost?
thanks for the help

right now i am running the accorrd mid shaft with the 90-93 teg axles, with no problems, I will be ordering a set of DSS axles here soon though, probably stage 3 to be safe!
