yes, but that is exactly what I had, a p72 ecu that came with my jdm gsr motor. Now I have a chipped(Skunk2) p28 and the car runs alot better with no check engine lights

But don't most of hte 'skunk2' chips just completely override the CEL function?
I've had many friends with chips that would be throwing codes and they never knew it while they had the chip in.

hmmm thats a good question? anyone?
However, I honestly dont think I am throwing any more codes due to the fact of the dramatic difference. My car use to be a little sluggish for a gsr down low and never quite seemed "up to par", but now the car drives a lot smoother not to mention quicker.......all of this couldnt have been just from the chip.

You guys sound familiar. I may be wrong but your Jeremy's friend. I think it was my bosch that you guys got from me. But yeah after I did my b18b swap, the only code that I was throwing was code 41. The thing was when i got my o2 hooked up the code went off permanetly, but now my car was running lean and when it idled it was rough and bounced up and down which was annoying. I had the 0bd2 to obd1 conversion kit from Kenji and I even switched ecu's and it still made the same problem. I kept on trying to figure it out for 3 months and I even took it to shops and they couldn't figure it out. So I just gave up. I got tired of seeing the check engine light so i took out the bulb. I wish i could get that problem fixed because I know if I keep on running rich my piston rings will wear out fast.
yea, im jeremy's friend. I can't seem to figure it out. I think I might just try and get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and turn the volume down from there and see if that doesnt fix it. That is pretty much my last resort because I have tried all the rewiring with the help of jeremy and a voltmeter. also, check all other associated fuel components and none have a problem except that o2. So im probably gonna try the fpr and see where that takes me.

As this confirms my previous post.........My engine light does come on, because it came back to say hi today
lol......Throwing a code 10 again, IAT. Atleast its not robbing me of any noticable power like before when I had both codes (TDC code 8), I guess its back to the shop again
