speed sensor swap Q (ls swap in eg)
so my swap is finished as of today but i still have a few of those kinks to work out...one of them being the speed sensor
i have the female part? ( i guess thats what it is) that is bolted to the tranny and a have three wires off the harness that i think came out of the male end( ya i guess) of the sensor that would plug into it....so if your following me at all or if that made any sense i think all i'm missign is the male part of the sensor? but i'm not sure can anyone help me out here?
o ya and i cut the correct sensor off my old motor and we were going to attempt to wire it to the three open wires but they were all different colors and we didn't want to mess anything up so we left it
and one more thing would this cause my odometer not to work? i think it would but idk...
and fyi my hatch and my swap are both obd1
thanks for any help and please help asap if you can

well on the sensor side there aren't any colors but on the harness side there are just three open wires were it should have a plug to plug into the sensor so i cut the plug off my old motor but the wire colors were diff...i'll go check the colors

Re: (CivicVX94)
the colors on the harness side of my old motor are black, yellow, and yellow and blue...and my car is outside in the dark so i can't tell what wires are coming off that harness side...but could i wire up the two together and get it to work? or what do i need?
