SOME H2B HELP NEEDED
ok so im about to go H2b in my ek..it previously had a b series swap.My question is once i get the QSD kit to use my b series tranny, will my engine harness work with the h22 engine or will i need an h22 engine harness??Im alittle confused on the wiring part of this swap..Im about to buy all the hardware needed. Also im running a chipped p28 with a stepdown harness running an all motor tune. Will this ecu work with the h22 to get it running. I know that eventually ill need a new tune though.Any help at all would be apreciated..Thanks guys.

depending on what injectors you use, you may have to wire in the resistor box for the stock peak/hold injectors. and depending on engine management you may have to also wire the egr purge and lift sensor. You will need to rewire the alt as well. and you will need to decide what you want to do w/ the iab's. i would suggest removing them and saving yourself the wiring trouble while making some extra power
i would also suggest hondata s300 for tunning

i plan on running the rc 310 injectors that i already have so i wont need the resistor box.and as far as the egr purge im running a chipped ecu that doesnt look for it..im not sure about the lift sensor though.what is that exactly..i dont know if i have that on my setup..is it for emissions? and im gonna run a skunk2 manifold with no iabs...so other than the alternator everything should work?

If you already have mounts that you want to use, you will have to get the QSD kit. If you want to use the EVO kit, you will have to use their mounts.

You do not have to remove the balance shafts. I still have mine on, I just removed the belt for them. The only thing you will have to do is hit your frame in a tad bit more to clear the pulleys. In order for you to install the bs removal kit you will have to drop your crank, I don't know if that is what you want to do but that is why I haven't done mine.

The manual tensioner is a great idea, I have it on mine. the whole setup from honda is a little less than $100. I didn't have to touch the frame in my 5th gen and your engine bay is bigger.(But I did machine off my P/s pulley. It fits pretty good, just be weary on having to modify a header, you have to do something.

you dont have to take the crank out
you just remove main caps 1,3,4 and tap 6 holes with a 1/8" npt tap and plug them
