Default SOHC VTEC help...

so here are some questions for any of the experts out there...how is the cross over on parts from 96-98 to 99-00? is there a big difference between things like the ECU (P2P), intake manifold (already have one from a 00), and other misc parts like the distributor? basically what i am asking is can i mix and match? i am assuming that when i do the conversion to VTEC on my y7 i will need the EX distributor as well?!? i am just trying to completely gear up for this swap and not have to run around like a madman when its go time. thanks for any answers...everyone here has been great so far.

ps. anybody know of a forum for single cam only?

ecu plugs on the 96-8 are different from those on the 99-00.
distributor is pretty much the same with possible difference in just the connectors.
intake manifolds are pretty much again the same. get the non EGR version.
